My wife and I became members of the rich, culturally diverse community a while back and have loved every second of it. We love how family oriented it is and how it has helped us to develop our three children through parks, sporting events, and activities available here.

I left Cricket Wireless/AT&T Mobility as an Indirect Sales Executive to start my Sales career with West Virginia Insurance Group in August 2017.

I grew up in Charleston WV, graduated from Capital High School and attended West Virginia State University.

I started by insurance career in 1997 as a Financial Advisor with American Express in Kanawha City, WV. In 2010, I accepted a management position with Bankers Life in Hurricane, WV. I joined West Virginia Insurance Group in September 2017.
I am originally from Annapolis, MD. I have one brother and sister. However my mother remarried when I was in 5th grade, and her new husband had seven children. Both families merged to have our very own “Brady Bunch.”
After graduating high school, I attended Southeastern Bible College in Lakeland, FL. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education. Many years later, I pursued a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Charleston.
It is so exciting and rewarding to assist my clients in achieving their financial goals. Helping them remove any unnecessary risks and making sure they are not left vulnerable to significant losses, brings me a fantastic sense of accomplishment. Protecting my clients is my life’s work.
My most prized possession is my daughter, Savannah. She is 16 years old and is growing up too fast. Every moment spent with her is cherished. I’m the type of mom who shows pictures and can’t stop talking about how proud I am of my daughter.
One of the most enjoyable aspects of my life is music. I sing with my church’s praise and worship team. It is an honor to serve.
During my spare time, you may find me in a few different places. I spend time at the mall (remember, my daughter is 16). You will also find me at church – Kings River Worship Center in St. Albans, WV.
On weekends, most likely, you would find me taking care of my elderly mother. She currently resides at a nursing home in St. Albans, WV. Due to her failing health, the majority of my spare time is spent with her. My favorite way to spend my weekend is with family and friends. I love to invite people over to my house for dinner. In the summer, you will find me hanging out by the pool.
I thoroughly enjoy being an event planner. In college, I was nicknamed the “cruise director.” I recently planned a surprise wedding. It was a major success! I love when people say, “it cant be done” then I show them that IT CAN!
A secret that most people don’t know about me is that I was not born with my dimple. When I was five years old, I fell while at a playground. My cheek hit a cement bench and formed a dimple. So glad I didn’t hit my forehead or some other odd place. (ha,ha)
I am passionate about serving my church. I sing, help with the children, have served in the media department, been a part of many youth events, and even helped make candy for missionaries.
My adventure into the insurance world has started with this company. I am thrilled to be a part of this team and am so blessed that they have welcomed me and made me a part of their family.
I grew up in Texas but moved to West Virginia a few years back. I instantly fell in love with the beauty of this state and with how tight-knit the community is. I recently started a family and am delighted to get the chance to raise my daughter in a place that is family focused.

The thing I find most enjoyable is spending time with my baby. My daughter is my whole world and being able to watch her grow every day is so amazing!
More likely than not, you will find me with my family on the weekends. Usually, we are at one of the grandparent’s houses eating good food and creating memories.
I love reading. Any moment I get, I like to sit down with my daughter and read to her. I believe a lot of knowledge can be obtained from what we read and If I can pass anything onto my daughter, it would be the love of reading.

I grew up in a small town called Rand in Charleston, WV and then I lived in the East End of Charleston for ten years, about three blocks away from the capitol. I enjoyed tutoring the children of our community in mathematics and English.
I LOVE to read, write, and recite poetry! Also, I’m very passionate about the youth, and I have mentored some great young people in both Cabell and Kanawha counties. My guilty pleasure, without a doubt, is warm chocolate chip cookies!
You can most definitely find me at the church on Sundays and probably at my in-laws and mom’s house on the weekends.
Before coming to the West Virginia Insurance Group, I had worked for a couple of different insurance agencies as well as within the funeral home and cemetery offices within WV. I usually worked in the Health and Life divisions.
What most excites me about work is giving people the information and knowledge to safeguard their assets and what they have worked their entire lives for. That to me is unmeasurable! Each day I try to assist others with protecting their families, leaving them better off than when we first spoke.
Right after high school, I started studying towards a degree in Forensics reconstruction. That career choice was interrupted with the birth of my son, and I later attended college to obtain my business degree. Later on, I got my CNA license.
Traveling is one of my joys in life. Capturing each moment in a photograph, capturing that moment, and the memory in time. Priceless!
During the warm weather months, I like to be outdoors and to enjoy everything from hiking to whitewater rafting. I enjoy cooking from scratch, with fresh ingredients. I’m also one of those research types that enjoys digging through old papers and information for ancestry data, photographs, and general history.
I volunteer and assist with dog transporting for dog shelters within WV, MD, VA, PA, KY and OH… which helps save lives. I also assist with fostering homeless pets… Sometimes giving and showing them that people do care and love is what’s needed most!
